INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION OF WOMEN IN LEGAL CAREERS
F. I. F. C. J.
Founded in Paris in 1928
He history of FIFCJ, it is the story of a very moving birth, of a fight conducted relentlessly towards an ever expanding horizon; first by just 5 women, outstanding pioneers, and now by representatives in 72 countries of different training and different origins.
We find in the retelling of the experiences of 4 exceptional presidents, the same ardent desire to espouse before national and international public opinion many generous ideas encouraging world peace and the equality of all human beings.
Little by little, our present egotisms shrink away, our pettiness disappears and we are overtaken by a a need to really participate in the activation of justice.
“We will never end the fight” said Yvonne Tolman ” there are other fields that we must sow, so that the new harvests of our efforts can profit more and more women of good will, but it is only by immitating their great example and by picking up the torch can we, their followers, progress toward the infinite.”
